Topic: Get It Right
Bible Verse:
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” — 2 Corinthians 13:5 (NIV)
Today’s Devotion:
In a world full of shifting standards and loud opinions, it is easy to drift from the core truths of our faith. Paul challenges us in today’s scripture to examine ourselves — not out of fear, but out of a deep desire to “get it right” with God.
Getting it right isn’t about perfection; it’s about alignment. Are our hearts beating with His love? Are our actions reflecting His grace? Are our lives a mirror of the hope we profess?
Self-examination requires humility, honesty, and the willingness to adjust. God is not looking for outward appearances but inward authenticity. When we submit ourselves to His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, He faithfully corrects, restores, and strengthens us.
Today, take time to sit quietly before the Lord. Invite Him to search your heart. Realign your thoughts, your decisions, and your desires with His will. Remember, it’s not about getting it perfect—it’s about getting it right with Him.
